Brethren Building Beloved Community (B3C) is a collection of congregations and individuals in the South/Central Indiana District of the Church of the Brethren (and friends!). We have joined together to learn and practice Kingian Nonviolence as a courageous way of life. Standing in Solidarity with Our Immigrant Neighbors

This event is designed for attendees to learn nonviolent skills,
ask questions, and find ways to use their own unique gifts
to support the most vulnerable members of our community during these difficult times.
There will be music, speakers, discussions and time for being in community.
The morning session from 10-11:45 is titled:
How to be an Anabaptist Rebel
We will discuss our history and why our voice is needed during these times.
Followed by a Pitch-in Lunch 12:00pm
* Eel River will provide main course and drinks
(other guests are invited to bring salads, breads and desserts)
The afternoon training from 1:00-3:00 will include training in nonviolence
followed by an opportunity to get involved on committees such as:
Communication: research, reporting, social media; newsletter
Service: food prep & delivery, clothing collection, immigrant support
Support: prayer chain, writing letters & articles, performing music, poetry, speak- ing, performing rituals like feet washing, anointing, prayer services
Public Witness: peaceful demonstrations, sit-ins, boycotts, civil disobedience
*Full day participation is appreciated but not required
