The public is invited to an appreciation dinner that will be held at noon Sunday, September 21st,  at Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren located at 741 E. 300 N, Camden.  This dinner will be in honor of Pastor Guy Studebaker who has served Lower Deer Creek for the past seven years.  Church services begin at 10:15 AM each Sunday.  His final service at Lower Deer Creek will be on September 28th.
During his tenure at LDC, Pastor Studebaker was instrumental in establishing an annual outreach event known as  “Raise the Turkey, Hide the Pastor.”  This is an annual food donation program carried out by the Lower Deer Creek congregation that has resulted in the acquisition of several tons of food items that have been distributed by the congregation over the past several years to the Flora Food Pantry.
